The Center on the American Governor offers a small number of internships – generally unpaid – to undergraduate and graduate students with an interest in the study of the office of the governor. Past interns have performed duties such as working on discrete research projects, assisting with creation of materials for the website, and compiling and organizing archive materials.

Web Design and Research Interns

Job Description:

Web Design and Research Internships are available at Eagleton’s Center on the American Governor (CAG) on a rolling basis throughout the year. The Center currently seeks a web design intern to assist in building and maintaining its website ( The part-time intern will identify and implement solutions to improve the function and appearance of CAG’s online archive. The technician will create new pages, redesign existing pages, and complete site maintenance. This is an unpaid internship with a flexible schedule (approx. 10 hours per week).


Strong WordPress, HTML, and Photoshop skills are required. Experience with Adobe CS desired.


Students interested in researching specific projects relevant to the office of the governor are also encouraged to apply for a research internship. Students should reach out at the contact information below with possible research projects.
