William Hamilton: …Well Kenny [Gewertz] would come in with some flamboyant attire and occasionally with some flamboyant ladies and cut a wide swath. And when he, whatever happened in Atlantic City , I like to remember the way that Dick Hughes later told it from the dais and said “There was a misunderstanding about Kenny and the watch being stolen. He’d just been down there with these ladies and he turned to two others and said, ‘Do you wanna watch?’ And they took it literally.”
