Eagleton Faculty, Staff and Visiting Associates
Diana Daoud is the Public Relations and Communications Specialist II at the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University–New Brunswick. In this role, she leads the Institute’s day-to-day communications efforts, including media relations, digital communications, event promotion, and public engagement. She also coordinates with Eagleton’s centers and programs to develop and execute communications strategies.
Daoud brings experience in corporate reputation, executive communications and visibility, media relations, strategic messaging, events, and integrated communications. Before joining Eagleton, she led and supported communications programs for global organizations across the professional services, healthcare, consumer, automotive, and technology sectors. Her work included advising senior leaders, developing internal and external communications, managing executive visibility initiatives, producing thought leadership content, and coordinating cross-functional projects and events.
Daoud’s nonprofit work includes supporting Water Smart Tots, Inc. through communications and program initiatives focused on childhood drowning prevention and expanding access to survival swim instruction.
Daoud earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Advertising and Applied Communication, with a minor in Business Administration, from St. John’s University.
