Jane Kenny was New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman’s first chief of policy and planning and later served as Commissioner of the Department of Community Affairs. In 2001, she was appointed as regional administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where she oversaw the federal agency’s work in New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. After leaving the federal government, she became the managing partner and a founder of The Whitman Strategy Group, LLC, an all-women firm specializing in sustainability issues.
