Interview with Robert Comstock

A veteran newspaper journalist, Robert Comstock joined the Byrne Administration in 1975 as Governor Byrne’s Director of Communications. He resigned in 1977 to become executive editor of The Record newspaper based in Hackensack where he had previously worked for several years as a reporter. He remained at The Record until 1988. Subsequently, he was on the faculty of the Rutgers School of Journalism, from which he had graduated in 1952.
