Dan Dalton represented New Jersey’s fourth legislative district in both the Assembly (1980-82) and the Senate (1982-92). While in the Senate, he chaired the Energy and Environment Committee and was elected majority leader (1990-92). In 1992, Governor Florio appointed Dalton Secretary of State. Dalton is currently employed as a sales executive for Brown & Brown of New Jersey, a full-service insurance broker. He serves on the boards of directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Gloucester County, Kennedy University Hospital, and Parke Bank Corporation.
