Interview with Caren Franzini

Caren Franzini served as chief executive officer of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) from January 1994 until October 2012. During that time she served as chairwoman of the state’s Urban Enterprise Zone Authority, vice chairwoman of the New Jersey Schools Development Authority, and president of the Corporation for Business Assistance in New Jersey.  At the time of this interview, Franizini was president of Franzini Consulting, LLC, and served on the boards of directors of NJM Insurance Group, Horizon Blue Cross NJ Foundation Board, LeadNJ, New Jersey Community Development Corporation and the NJ Alliance for Action.
